For me, lifestyle photography is capturing the perfectly presented dessert, the posture of a beautiful body, the strumming hand of a guitarist, and a window into another culture. Lifestyle photography is the faces and places that make you who you are, capturing whatever it is that you love to do: travel, cook, dance, and play.
Of course, life isn’t always just about fun. Lifestyle photography bridges past what you love to do, and also encompasses what you have to do at your job. In addition to “on location” lifestyle photography, Emily Rumsey Photography provides headshot services for business cards and brochures.
Lifestyle photography can take place either “in studio” with backdrops and lights, or on location. Typically,
“in studio” shots happen at the location of photographer’s choice, but the studio is portable for an additional travel fee.
Senior portrait services are available upon request. Senior portraits include a private viewing gallery and “shopping cart” to share images with family and friends.

Emily Rumsey Photography perfects your final images in our “digital darkroom” using professional photography software. The digital darkroom ensures that color, contrast, and framing all look their best. The final photos includes both color and black & white images.
There are two options for headshots & lifestyle packages: purchase digital images directly through Emily Rumsey Photography or purchase a disk of images and photo rights. Since the end result of headshots is usually for advertising purposes (on business cards, brochures, websites, etc.) we want you to be able to use your images in a way that will promote you best.
If you only need one or two images, purchase the final images directly through Emily Rumsey Photography. If you would like access to an entire photoshoot, purchase the disk and photo rights. You can also order individual photo prints directly through Emily Rumsey Photography.
